Collective Marks and Strokes of Imagination
May 10 - May 30 2025
Li Tang x THE BLANC

Collective Marks and Strokes of Imagination marks the fifth anniversary of Li Tang Community with a multifaceted exhibition that reflects the shared practices, values, and evolving identities of Asian diaspora creatives.
Rather than centering individual authorship, the exhibition foregrounds collective gestures—fluid, open-ended, and shaped by temporary gatherings and mutual support. Drawing on Marc Augé’s concept of “non-places,” the show considers how ephemeral encounters can create new forms of belonging and co-creation, especially within diasporic contexts.
The works on view—selected through open calls, curatorial invitations, and community partnerships—demonstrate Li Tang Community’s commitment to openness and inclusivity. The exhibition features longstanding members, emerging voices, and influential figures whose practices span generations, disciplines, and geographies. Together, these artists form a dynamic portrait of an artistic network in motion, one that continues to redefine itself through care, collaboration, and collective imagination.
