Anchoring Across Borders
A panel series that investigates global art practices and careers through art marketing and emerging technologies.

Arts Admin Next presents the 2024 AAN Roundtable: Anchoring Across Borders – Exploring the Global Art Landscape. Taking place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 6–8 PM at THE BLANC in Midtown NYC, this year’s roundtable opens a dialogue on the challenges and opportunities faced by art practitioners with international backgrounds.
Bringing together ARAD and VAA alumni alongside professionals from across the visual and performing arts sectors, the conversation spans non-profit and for-profit organizations, highlighting diverse journeys from student life to leadership roles in arts administration. Panelists will share insights from working within—and across—global art scenes, offering perspectives on mobility, cultural exchange, and the evolving role of the arts in an interconnected world.
The evening features two focused panels:
Panel 1: Art Marketing
A discussion on the integration of traditional and digital strategies in cultural organizations, with an emphasis on innovative approaches to audience engagement.
Panel 2: Art & Technology
A conversation on the digital art landscape, including NFTs, digital preservation, intellectual property, and market accessibility, led by industry experts and legal professionals.
The event will conclude with one-on-one conversations between attendees and guest speakers, encouraging deeper exchange and networking within the community.
