More and more creative professionals flock to New York in a nomadic approach, engaging in cross-cultural study, creation, and practice. How does New York serve both as an experimental field for methodology and as a cultural lens for understanding the contemporary world? On May 4, 2025, Building&Story, in collaboration with YuanJia, i-Talkand, will launch "New York Architecture and Culture Talk", a "reverse" journey that takes New York as a method and the world as the destination. Cross-disciplinary observers including researchers, writers, architects, artists, media professionals, publishers, curators, and brand founders are invited from all over the world to explore the phenomenon of cultural nomadism in the context of globalization, and further understand the cultural landscape of CHINA&AMERICA in a mobile perspective. The discussion will gather around three key themes: literature & society, architecture & art, and media & publishing.
