Based in New York, the Wet Ink Ensemble is a collective of composers, performers, and improvisers dedicated to adventurous contemporary music. Named “The Best Classical Music Ensemble of 2018” by The New York Times, Wet Ink is known for its innovative, collaborative approach, blending composition, improvisation, and interpretation within a distinctive band ethos. Celebrated for performances described as “sublimely exploratory” and “dense, wild, yet artfully controlled,” the ensemble has spent over two decades presenting new music at the highest level, collaborating with leading figures across experimental and contemporary music while championing emerging and underrepresented voices worldwide.
