Pulsing Sound Series 8: The One and the Other

THE BLANC presents An Evening of Music and Dance: The One and the Other on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 PM. Exploring timbre as something inseparable from bodily motion, the program follows sound as it is bowed, blown, struck, plucked, and danced into being, with bodies setting air and space into vibration. Bringing Bach into dialogue with contemporary works, The One and the Other traces resonances across time, where ritual, color, gesture, and movement pass between past and present.
